Inside the National Park of the monti Sibillini, monte Monaco, la grotta della Sibilla, il lago di Pilato, the Infernaccio Gorge.
About two hours away, by car, you can reach the Grotte di Frasassi, in Genga.
On the coast the beaches closer to Monterubbiano are Porto San Giorgio, Pedaso, Cupramarittima and Grottammare. Sandy or fine gravel, with shallow water suitable also for children, offer both equipped and free spaces.
For those who want to go a bit further, about 45 minutes by car, there is the riviera del Conero, a stretch of high and rocky coast, full of charming coves and famous beaches including Numana, Sirolo and Portonovo.

Le Marche are also a land rich in flavours and it’s easy to discover, travelling among the hills, small farms producing pasta (famous are the maccheroncini of Campofilone), typical cured meats such as ciauscolo, truffles, lentils (known are those of Castelluccio of Norcia), cheeses and a large number of wineries where you can taste excellent wine.
