The house dates back to the 17th century. It was donated by an uncle who was a priest to grandfather Domenico, father of our mother Giuliana and uncle Giuseppe. Ah, as you can see here, we are three sisters: Antonella, Giovanna and Valeria.
So, our grandfather moved from Monterubbiano to Ancona for studies, where later he decided to stay with his new family, but he always loved to spend long periods of holiday in his hometown and the house has always been a place to meet relatives and has helped to keep the family together over the years!
That’s why, for us, this house is full of memories and is a significant part of our life.
The house was recently renovated to make it even more welcoming and comfortable, without altering its original features.
It has two floors:
on the ground floor an entrance hall, a small bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and a series of small appliances), a large living room with fireplace and dining room attached.
The first floor is accessed through an ancient staircase, adorned with an original wooden balustrade, that leads to the three large bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one with three single beds, and the bathroom.
From the living room on the ground floor, you can go down to the old “storehouse” and go out to a small garden equipped with table and chairs, which can also be used as a bicycle parking for those who need it.
The house, in short, while maintaining the atmosphere of old houses, has all the comforts to allow a pleasant and relaxing stay.
